Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a General Surgeon for Bear River Clinic and Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, UT. This solo role offers autonomy, procedural variety, and a pathway to grow a robotics program with a new robot arriving this year.

The candidate will handle a full-scope practice, engage in a team-focused rural setting, and benefit from Intermountain’s robust benefits, CME allowance, and relocation support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license or ability to obtain one.
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications.
• Endoscopy proficiency required given community needs.
• Robotic surgery experience or strong interest with a robotic program planned by year end.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope general surgery with endoscopy component.
• Collaborate with a regional group and build autonomy.
• Develop and grow a robotics program with new robotic platform.
