Job summary

Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa seeks an EMT to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, providing Basic Life Support and transporting patients to the appropriate medical facility. The EMT works with a Paramedic or other EMS personnel and follows Iowa Department of Public Health standards and MCEMS/MCRHC values.

Qualifications

• Current state EMT certification as required by the posting.
• Current BLS certification card.
• Preference for NREMT certification.
• BLS Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests and provide Basic Life Support as needed.
• Transport ill or injured persons to appropriate medical facilities.
• Comply with Iowa Department of Public Health standards and MCEMS/MCRHC values.
