Job summary

The Nevada Office of Emergency Management (NV OEM) located in Elko, Nevada, seeks a Management Analyst 1 to liaise with rural and tribal emergency managers, build relationships, and provide technical support. The role coordinates with LEPCs and supports CERT programs and resilience initiatives, with EOC activation during major emergencies.

Responsibilities include research and analysis of management areas, admin support, and assisting in policy and procedure improvements, plus duties as a Duty

Qualifications

• One or more years of applicable experience in management analysis or related field.
• Experience in public outreach and emergency management or emergency response is required.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of agency operations, policies, forms, and procedures.
• Provide administrative support and prepare reports and correspondence.
• Serve as liaison to rural and tribal emergency managers and coordinate with LEPCs.
• Assist in developing resilience projects and CERT programs.
• Participate as a Duty Officer and support NV EOC during activations.
