OCTX is hiring FedEx Ground delivery drivers in San Angelo, TX. The role involves loading and delivering packages on rural routes with company Transit or cutaway vehicles, averaging ~250 miles per day over ~8 hours.

The position includes 2 weeks of paid training, weekly pay, and benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) with no matching. Prior courier experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs, with frequent bending and maneuvering in and out of the delivery vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Prior courier experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver packages on rural routes across the San Angelo metro area in a company-provided Transit or cutaway.
• Expect to drive an average of 250 miles per day and work about 8 hours, until all packages are delivered.
• The work involves loading and unloading packages, frequent bending, and getting in and out of the vehicle to deliver packages to homes or access points.
