Job summary

Pharmacy1st Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations and provide high-quality clinical care. You will ensure regulatory compliance, mentor technicians, and collaborate with physicians to improve patient outcomes in a rural setting.

The role emphasizes patient-focused dispensing, immunizations, medication therapy management, and ongoing quality improvements within a rapidly expanding rural network.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the respective state.
• 1+ years of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, third-party insurance billing, and pharmacy management systems.
• Strong clinical judgment with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription verification and inventory control.
• Provide patient care through dispensing, counseling, immunizations, and MTM.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff to promote safety and service.
• Maintain quality assurance and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to optimize outcomes.
• Support growth of pharmacy and clinical services in the community.
• Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and controlled substances.
