Functional Purpose: Delivers and collects mail along rural routes using a vehicle, providing various postal services to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sort mail in delivery sequence.
2. Handle accountable mail and sign for it.
3. Load mail into the vehicle.
4. Deliver mail, collect monies, and handle customer inquiries.
5. Sell stamps and money orders, and accept various types of mail and parcels.
6. Return undeliverable mail and submit receipts.
7. Prepare mail for forwarding and maintain address records.
8. Complete daily trip reports and maintain customer lists.
9. Conduct surveys as needed.
10. Maintain inventory of stamps and supplies.
11. Ensure mail security at all times.
