The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Part-time Busser/Runner to support servers and maintain dining room cleanliness. You will ensure tables are clean, set, and ready for guests, while delivering beverages and assisting with guest requests under supervision.

This role emphasizes friendly service to a senior population, adherence to sanitation standards, and participation in training. A high school diploma and Serve Safe certification are preferred, with flexible scheduling

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; three months of restaurant experience preferred.
• Current Serve Safe Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current mean period.
• Keeps all tables cleaned and properly set according to property specific standards.
• Delivers and refills beverages, pre-busses tables, and promptly resolves guest requests.
• Completes opening and closing duties and cleaning per side-work checklist.
• Provides service in servers’ absence as needed.
• Adheres to sanitation, safety, and incident reporting policies.
• Attends department meetings and in-service training as requested.
• Maintains confidentiality of members’ PHI and medical records information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The Busser /Runner is responsible for assisting the servers in providing the highest quality service possible to Members and guests at The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch (GPR) while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The Busser/Runner ensures that all tables are kept clean and presentable with clean china, glassware, silverware and linen. Works under the direction of the Dining Room Supervisor, Lead Servers and/or Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Keeps all work areas clean and properly stocked according to the current mean period.
• Keeps all tables cleaned and properly set according to property specific standards.
• Breaks down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room area according to established standards.
• Assists servers by delivering and refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables, and promptly resolving any guest requests.
• Completes daily opening and closing duties and cleaning according to established side-work checklist.
• Provides service to guests in server’s absence as needed.
• Adheres to all departmental policies and procedures including, but not limited to, sanitation and food handling protocols, safety, and incident/accident reporting.
• Attends and participates in department meeting and in-service training as requested.
• Maintains confidentiality of members’ PHI (Protected Health Information) and medical records information as well.
• Other various duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Three months experience preferred.
• Must have current Serve Safe Certification or can get one.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Skill in understanding of computer software as it relates to the job.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be empathetic, enthusiastic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population.
