Job summary

Loffredo Fresh Foods in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Non CDL Runback Driver for local delivery. You will interact with customers, ensure order accuracy, inspect products, and maintain delivery records.

The role requires a valid interstate license, reliable transportation, and ability to operate a 26ft box truck. Pay is $18 per hour with a 7 AM start and completing shift, Sundays and Thursdays off.

Qualifications

• Valid interstate driver's license, 21+ or older.
• Access to reliable and punctual transportation.
• Pass a background check (including sex offender registry).
• Recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen.
• Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query.
• Must read and write English.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders.
• Comfortable driving a 26ft box truck.

Responsibilities

• SAFETY FIRST. Operate vehicles safely and follow all guidelines.
• Deliver and unload in varying weather conditions.
• Deliver and communicate with customers professionally.
• Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.

Job Title: Non CDL Runback Driver (Local Delivery)
Location: Des Moines, IA

Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Non CDL Run Back Driver based out of our Des Moines Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 7 locations. Our drivers touch freight! As a Run Back Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include taking a 4 pallet truck out to local customers in the Kansas City area. Checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.

Pay: $18 per hour

Schedule: 7 AM till the work is completed

Days off: Sunday and Thursday
