Job summary

Life Time in Las Vegas is seeking a Run Lead to join our fitness team. You will lead social runs, inspire participants, and help everyone feel included on every step of their running journey.

You will plan routes, greet new runners, manage waivers, explain workouts, form pace groups, and share run highlights on social media while maintaining prompt communication.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or Equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in running.
• Experience with developing and implementing social events.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• CPR/AED Certification required (within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Plans running routes in advance of meetings.
• Meets and greets runners, introducing new participants to the group.
• Directs new participants to fill out an online waiver.
• Introduces the route, the workout, and how members can measure their intensity to achieve best results.
• Makes sure that no one is alone during the workout, pair people up or establish pace groups so that all levels feel a part of the group.
• Designs run to match the appropriate social run format, and create an exciting run experience for participants of all levels.
• Thanks the participants, invites their feedback and welcomes them back after a workout.
• Promotes run and shares social run photos on Social Media.
• Communicates effectively by promptly replying to emails and phone messages.

As a Run Lead, you will join an elite Team of fitness professionals who are responsible for creating and delivering fun and engaging social runs. The Run lead is a leader who connects with, inspires, and motivates participants at every stage in their running journey.

Preferred Requirements

• Certification preferred in USA Track & Field (USATF), Road Runners Club of America (RRCA), and/or United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy (UESCA)
