Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Lift Truck Operator II for the Rugs Department at Plant T1 in Adairsville. This night shift role operates 11:30pm–7:30am, handling finished goods, raw materials, and waste while loading, unloading, and labeling rugs for shipping.

Applicants must hold LTO certification for 12 ft pole, squeeze, and fork attachments, and be able to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills. On-site, non-rotating shift with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold LTO certification and be able to operate lift equipment safely.
• Experience with powered industrial machinery preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick up finished goods from packout and load onto trailers for shipping.
• Unload trailers with raw materials, carpet rolls, backing, and similar items.
• Weigh waste and log into the MRM system; maintain safe handling procedures.
• Operate rug-related packing and labeling duties; print labels and apply to rugs.
• Work in the packout area to package rugs for shipping and load into carts.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices; support plant operations as needed.

The role involves transporting raw materials, waste, finished products, and other necessary items to support the rug department.
