Job summary

Valinor Dispatch builds modular charging infrastructure for unmanned systems. We seek an Electrical Engineer to own power flow for AC/DC systems in low-voltage applications, from prototype to production-ready manufacturing, on-site with the engineering team.

You will design DC/DC converters, protection, and health monitoring, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance for high-power systems (1kW–50kW) in austere environments. Strong collaboration with mechanical, embedded, and systems teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in power electronics with hands-on PCB design
• Experience designing DC/DC converters and health monitoring
• EMI/EMC experience for high-power designs (1kW–50kW)
• Ability to prototype, prove out a concept, and push to production-ready manufacturing
• Experience with low-voltage AC/DC systems (<240VAC, <60VDC)
• Experience designing for rugged environments (thermal, shock and vibration, ingress protection) preferred
• Background in industrial, automotive, oil and gas, rail, or defense power systems preferred
• Proficiency with PCB design and simulation tools such as Altium Designer, LTSpice, or similar a plus

Responsibilities

• Own power flow for AC/DC systems and subsystems in low-voltage applications across autonomous platforms
• Design production-level PCBs for DC/DC converters, protection systems, and health monitoring
• Take designs from prototype through production-ready manufacturing
• Design to EMI/EMC requirements for high-current, high-power systems (1kW–50kW)
• Partner with mechanical, embedded, and systems engineers to integrate power electronics into autonomous charging platforms
• Build and validate prototypes, then drive handoff to volume production
