Job summary

Envision Technology, an innovative defense contractor, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, integrate, and test rugged electro-mechanical systems for UxS and CUxS platforms at the Fort Bragg, NC facility.

You will collaborate across engineering disciplines, support production, and contribute to mission-critical programs while traveling occasionally within the US for testing and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years designing small, rugged mechanisms.
• RC vehicle experience is a plus.
• Proficient with SolidWorks CAD tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on system integration and testing experience.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative new product designs from concept to production.
• Design architecture for UxS/CUxS platforms and define subsystems.
• Interface with electrical, software, PMs, suppliers and customers.
• Evaluate designs via simulation, prototype testing and verification.
• Troubleshoot design failure modes and develop quick solutions.
• Apply critical thinking to address engineering challenges.
• Provide production support as needed.
