Job summary

Crystal Group, Inc. is seeking an Intern, Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and verify custom electrical assemblies and PCBs on-site in Hiawatha, IA. The role involves full-stack design, from schematics to wiring, under supervision of the Manager of Electrical Engineering.

You will work with Altium Designer and related tools, supporting manufacturing and sales while learning from experienced engineers in a 100% employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in electrical engineering or related field.
• US Person status required.
• Experience with PCB design and layout is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use Altium/PSpice to convert requirements into schematics, PCB layouts, and drawings.
• Read electrical drawings to ensure adherence to specs and standards.
• Assist System Architects in researching and evaluating systems for customer requirements.
• Provide electrical troubleshooting support in Manufacturing and Sales.
• Design or test electrical models and perform calculations to assess feasibility.
