Job summary

Reffine is seeking a mid/senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a long-term collaboration to build new products (CMS, Stock Management System) and improve existing ones. You should write clean, scalable Ruby, learn new technologies, integrate with external APIs, and contribute to frontend where needed.

The role involves working with Ruby 3/4, Rails 7/8, InertiaJS/Vue, Redis, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes. A strong focus on code quality and collaborative culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience.
• Mid/senior level with strong communication in English and Polish (B2 minimum).
• Willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features in projects developed from scratch and existing ones.
• Refactor and optimize the current codebase.
• Have an impact on the tech stack and be open to introducing new technologies when it makes sense.
• Contribute to product development with ideas and improvements.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.

We're looking for a mid/senior Ruby on Rails Developer for a long-term collaboration who'll help us build new products and improve our existing ones (CMS, Stock Management System - both are mature and well-maintained).

If you're able to:

• Write clean and scalable code in Ruby
• Learn new technologies
• Integrate with external providers (APIs)
• Implement simple frontend where needed
• Vibe-code some prototypes using technologies you might not be an expert in - but still enjoy exploring

We care about code quality (we have code reviews, CI/CD and pair programming sessions) and a good atmosphere at work. We put a lot of effort on exploring AI capabilities in making our daily work easier, faster and more fun.

• Ruby 3/4 (depending on the project)

What we're looking for:

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in Ruby on Rails
• We are looking for someone with mid-level experience or higher
• Communicative proficiency in Polish and English at a minimum of B2 level

What you'll be responsible for:

• Implementing new features (in new projects developed from scratch but also in existing projects - all of them are developed by us)
• Refactoring and optimizing existing code
• Having an impact on the tech stack (we're open to introducing new technologies when it makes sense)
• Contributing to product development (we welcome ideas for improving our products)
• Performing code reviews
