Job description

Role: Ruby Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Pay Rate: Upto $55/hr on C2C

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 8+ years of work experience.
• Strong fundamentals in Data Structure, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Experience in Test driven and Behavior driven development using RSpecs.
• Experience with Agile Software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of Architectural patterns including Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Securities or Financial Services Domain is a plus.

Job responsibilities:

• Work within a scrum team of 8+ people focused on service delivery, resiliency, and interoperability within the middle office platform.
• Collaborate with other technologists to leverage and contribute to reusable code and services.
• Develop expertise in one or more functional areas.
• Design scalable, high-performing, and robust applications; participate in design and code reviews with senior staff.
• Contribute to shaping best practices for software development and platform improvement.
