Garlock is hiring a KLZ Press Operator/Finisher to join our manufacturing team in Palmyra, NY. The role involves operating electric and hydraulic presses, loading molds, applying mold release, curing stock, and finishing parts for shipment.

You will inspect parts for quality, monitor process conditions, and record production data to support metrics. Strong attention to detail and safety commitment are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately.
• Comfort monitoring equipment, checking product quality, and recording production information.
• Ability to communicate concerns, suggest improvements, and work well with supervisors, engineering, and team members.
• Commitment to plant safety guidelines, clean work practices, and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Operate electric and hydraulic presses for rubber molding operations.
• Load molds, position blanks, apply mold release, cure stock, remove finished pieces.
• Perform finishing operations to prepare items for shipment.
• Inspect molded parts visually and with gauges to meet quality requirements.
• Monitor press conditions (pressure, temperature, etc.) and troubleshoot defects.
• Record production data and contribute to metrics.
