Job summary

National Products in Washington state is seeking a Rubber Machine Operator to produce high-quality molded components using rubber compounds. This hands-on role combines operating rubber injection molding machines with material preparation, quality inspection, and finishing work on a swing shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, applying primer coatings, trimming, installing hardware, and documenting production data while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and written/verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery: Verify basic mold setups and machine settings, start and monitor equipment, load and unload parts, and shut down machines as needed.
• Produce quality components: Inspect molded parts for defects and ensure products meet established quality and production standards.
• Perform hands-on finishing: Trim excess material using knives and hand tools, install hardware using arbor presses, apply primer coatings to aluminum castings.
• Keep production moving: Follow work instructions and procedures to complete tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Identify and report issues: Recognize unusual machine conditions or defects and communicate concerns to supervisors or technicians.
• Maintain accurate records: Document production data, label parts, and complete inventory transactions.
