Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in rubber manufacturing or Banbury mixing preferred.
• Ability to follow precise batch instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain rubber mixing mill equipment and Banbury mixing systems according to safety and quality standards.
• Weigh, measure, and load raw materials into mills and Banbury mixers following exact formulas and batch sheets.
• Mix rubber compounds to specified hardness, consistency, and quality requirements using both open mills and Banbury mixing cycles.
• Set up, operate, and adjust Banbury mixer controls, including ram pressure, rotor speed, mix timing, and discharge procedures.
• Record detailed production, batch, temperature, and materials data accurately for both mill and Banbury operations.
• Safely sheet out, cool, and process Banbury-mixed batches through mills when required.
