Job Purpose

The Rubber Lining Superintendent at CKM INDUSTRIES INC will oversee and manage all aspects of rubber lining operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the rubber lining team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute rubber lining projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop and implement effective rubber lining solutions.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of materials and equipment necessary for rubber lining operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all rubber lining activities and projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
  • Report on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Required Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in rubber lining or a related industrial field. Proven track record of managing teams and projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with quality control processes and procedures in a rubber lining environment. Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiencies and implement best practices.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members. Comprehensive understanding of rubber lining techniques, materials, and equipment. Proficient in project management software and tools. Strong problem‑solving abilities with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
