Hannecard is seeking a hands-on Rubber Extrusion / Roll Builder to contribute to building up rubber coverings on roller cores. The role emphasizes precise material bonding, surface preparation, and maintaining consistent quality through monitoring extrusion parameters.
You will work closely with the finishing team and progress as you master multiple rubber compounds. Our team supports growth and internal advancement, with mentorship from an experienced supervisor and a strong emphasis on
At Hannecard, what we achieve is the sum of countless individual efforts — and we look for people who want to grow with us, not just punch a clock. This Rubber Extrusion / Roll Builder role is hands‑on production work at the core of what we do: building up rubber and elastomer coverings onto roller cores through extrusion, laying the foundation for a roller that will go on to be finished, tested, and shipped to a customer who's counting on it to perform.
Our rollers are built to outperform — customers choose Hannecard because our rollers run longer and help them produce better product. That performance starts here, before a roller ever reaches finishing. The quality of the rubber build — proper bonding to the core, correct thickness and consistency, sound material — determines whether everything that happens downstream actually holds up. Get this step right, and you've set the whole roller up to succeed.
You’ll report to a working supervisor who will train you on our specific compounds, equipment, and quality standards. As you build depth in different rubber compounds and roll specifications, there's room to take on more complex builds, mentor newer team members, and grow your pay alongside your capability. We invest a meaningful portion of our budget every year in developing our people, and we promote from within.
Someone who takes pride in getting the foundational work right, understanding that what they build becomes the base for everything that follows. If you like the idea of shaping a roller from raw material into something that will perform in a customer’s mill for years, you’ll do well here.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Hannecard does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
