Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Extruder Operator in Suwanee, GA. The operator sets up, operates, and tends an extrusion machine that forms continuous filaments from rubber, adjusting speed, RPM, and belt settings while maintaining thickness.

A 30-minute interval log of length, width, and thickness is required. Typical duties include working with robots and conveyors, maintaining base sheets to spec, performing basic maintenance, collaborating with the maintenance team, and recycling out-of-spec sheets

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machine operations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Working with a robot, conveyor lines and hot knife in extrusion process.
• Ensuring base sheet meets proper length, width and gauge to exact specifications.
• General maintenance and upkeep of extruder, cleaning out, replacing air filters.
• Work closely with Maintenance team and provide input on problems that may occur.
• Recycle out-of-spec base sheets (pigs) in a timely manner.
