Job summary

ManpowerGroup client in the Automotive & Defense Industry seeks a Machine Operator for rubber coatings in Auburn Hills, MI. You will set up, operate, and monitor coating machines to apply rubber compounds to substrates.

This role offers 1st and 3rd shifts, with a path to direct hire in about 90 days and a pay increase. You will work safely with PPE and maintain a clean, lean 5S workspace for efficient production.

Qualifications

• Machine Operation: Understanding how to start, stop, and adjust rubber coating machines.
• Quality Control: Inspecting coated products for defects and ensuring they meet specifications.
• Attention to Detail: Spotting inconsistencies or defects in coated products.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor rubber coating machines to apply rubber compounds to various substrates according to production specifications.
• Inspect coated products for defects such as bubbles, uneven application, or contamination, and make necessary adjustment
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing
