Job summary

Techtronic Industries, NA (TTI) is seeking a RTV Returns Inspector to join our US facility team. You will inspect and analyze returned components, verify purchase dates, and determine credit eligibility while maintaining clear communication with Home Depot associates.

The role requires a 2-year degree or equivalent experience, up to 2 years in inspection or power tools, and knowledge of inspection techniques. This non-exempt position offers overtime eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A. EQUIVALENT EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED 2 year degree or HS diploma with equivalent experience.
• B. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Up to 1 to 2 years experience.
• C. KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Must have working knowledge with power tools and/or outdoor power equipment including their designs and uses. Must be knowledgeable of inspection and analysis techniques
• D. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Analytical; detail oriented; strong communication skills; demonstrate strong work ethic and PC literate. Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools and equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed. Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and analyze components of the returned product to determine whether credit should be issued.
• Verify the purchase date if available, determine whether the product was returned within the Customer Satisfaction period (30 Days for Outdoor Power & 90 Days for Power tools).
• If no purchase date, determine whether the product was returned within the TTI grace period (24 months from product date code).
• Inspect the product for customer abuse or misuse.
• Record the status (credit/no credit) of each product inspected.
• Maintain constant communication with The Home Depot associates working in the facility.
• Clearly communicate the product status and reason for your decision to The Home Depot associates for all products inspected.
• Strive to meet the company's goals of continual improvement in the areas of knowledge, skills, processes and quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect and analyze components of the returned product to determine whether credit should be issued.
• Verify the purchase date if available, determine whether the product was returned within the Customer Satisfaction period (30 Days for Outdoor Power & 90 Days for Power tools).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Non-Exempt Position (Overtime Eligible)
• Starting Salary - $20.50/hour equating to a Target Annual Salary of $42,640
• Medical, Vision, and Dental Benefits Available
• 401K (Company Matches 50% up to 8% of Salary)
• Eligible for up to 10 paid Holiday (Based on hire date)
• Accrue up to 104 hours of PTO - 1st Year - Based on hire date #LI-DNI

Education and Experience Requirements:
