Job summary

WORLD CAT is seeking an RTM Lamination Lead to manage the RTM lamination team, ensuring strict adherence to skin, RTM, and vacuum processes. You will drive daily tasks, oversee staffing, and maintain safety and quality standards across the work area.

Responsibilities include mentoring teammates, enforcing QA checks, coordinating with Engineering, and ensuring on-time delivery while minimizing waste and defects.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to follow documentation and SOPs to build products to spec.
• Intensive knowledge of SOPs and documentation for processes and equipment.
• Confidence to motivate and lead people.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks and request assistance for bottlenecks.
• Hold area accountable to quality, efficiency, supply and on-time delivery goals.
• Coordinate with Engineering for clarity and process simplification.
• Monitor cabinets and keep supplies available for associates.
• Address lamination defects and waste with teammates.
• Understand cost of quality in terms of waste and rework.
• Ensure chemicals are labeled and stored properly.
• Ensure tools and equipment work with proper settings and calibrations.
• Manage all teammates and staffing to do the job safely.
• Approve hires for the team and ensure training compliance.
• Grade performance and review with supervisor.
• Produce zero defects and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow all work instructions and QA checks.

RTM Lamination Lead

Summary: Lead the RTM Lamination team to strictly follow all skin, RTM, and vacuum processes

Responsibilities:

• Complete your jobs each day and request assistance for additional labor to attack a bottleneck
• Hold area accountable to all quality, efficiency, supply and on-time delivery goals
• Ensure Engineering provides support to for clarity and simplifying processes
• Monitor cabinets and keep supplies available for associates
• Address amount of air, heat print, improper roll-outs, and other lamination defects with teammates
• Understand the Cost of Quality in terms of waste (excess patch hours) and rework (grinding)
• Ensure chemicals are labeled and properly stored
• Make sure all tools & equipment work proper and calibrations have been performed
• Manage all teammates
• Ensure proper staffing to do the job correctly and safely
• Manage team to start on-time and take proper breaks
• Approve all hires to work on your team
• Ensure all teammates are properly trained and perform to our standards
• Grade individual performance and review with your supervisor
• Produce ZERO defects (fix before leaving your area)
• Ensure the work area is clean and safe
• Ensure all tools & equipment working with proper settings
• Ensure all work instructions followed by all teammates
• Sign QA check sheet to verify product built to spec follow all documentation
• Review people, quality, and performance issues with your supervisor
• Provide input to performance goals for your team
• Report all injuries and safety violations to the Supervisor immediately
• Provide communication to teammates on all corporate communications
• Relay teammate concerns with your supervisor

Qualifications:
