Job summary

Job description

General Summary

Microarchitecture and logic design development of Qualcomm’s state‑of‑the‑art AI/ML processors used in a wide range of applications. As part of the AI/ML processor logic design team, work on providing quick feedback on PPA feasibility of design features.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with architects, micro‑architects and logic designers, and provide feedback on power, timing, and area.
• Perform logic synthesis, early static timing analysis and early power analysis for the designs before the full implementation cycle.
• Evaluate all aspects of the design process from instruction set architecture to implementation.
• Use system tools such as digital design simulator, design synthesis engine, power estimation engine, etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools and flows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl and Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog and RTL design concepts.
• Experience with Git and other revision control systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits

$98,500.00 - $147,700.00. In addition to base salary, Qualcomm offers a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual RSU grants. Benefits include comprehensive health, wellness and retirement plans, and other support for employees at work, at home and at play.
