You’ll review requests, organize records, perform exemptions analysis, and assist with appeals before the OOR, becoming a central conduit between legal teams, municipal staff, and agencies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal or legal support experience.
• Hands-on Pennsylvania RTKL experience preferred.
• Background in municipal, government, administrative, or litigation work preferred.
• Proven strength in organization and high-volume document review.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with Pennsylvania RTKL requests and responses.
• Review, organize, and manage public records and supporting documentation.
• Identify records subject to disclosure, exemptions, and redaction.
• Prepare correspondence, filings, and other RTKL-related documents.
• Support RTKL appeals and matters involving the OOR.
• Conduct legal and factual research on public records and municipal issues.
• Coordinate with attorneys, municipal clients, and government agencies.
• Provide general litigation support on municipal and government-related matters.
• Manage multiple RTKL matters and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Maintain organized files for active and closed matters.
