Job summary

Lexington County School District One Lexington Elementary School in Lexington, South Carolina is seeking an Interventionist (RTI) for a part-time role to support students within the RtI program. The position reports to the Principal and operates under the Instructional Services department with the standard 16 hours over 190 days schedule.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in education with appropriate certification, be actively pursuing the Read to Succeed endorsement, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education with certification in a related area and previous student teaching experience.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification to coincide with grade levels to be taught.
• Actively pursuing the endorsement required by the Read to Succeed legislation.
• Must have current government issued identification.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision prepares for, assesses and instructs individuals and small groups of students in support of the RtI program.
• Collaborates with administrators, instructional coaches, school counselors, school psychologists, parents, and teachers to identify ways to help struggling students and meet learning styles.

Education
