Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery operates two facilities, including Rocky Mount, NC, producing thousands of cheesecakes daily. This production role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to recipes, quality control, and efficient packaging for warehouse storage and shipping.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of GMPs and Shop Floor Data Collection software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pre-weighing and preparing raw baking ingredients.
• Combine ingredients in industrial mixers.
• Ensure ingredients are mixed as recipes specify.
• Maintain product quality to standards through baking process.
• Wrap/bag products and correct machinery settings as needed.
• Label products for warehouse storage and shipping.
• Comply with GMPs and SQF program requirements.
• Adhere to federal and state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respectfully communicates with all co-workers.
• Pre-weighing and preparing raw baking ingredients.
• Combining dry and wet ingredients in industrial-sized mixers.
• Ensure product ingredients are mixed as the recipe specifies.
• Ensure product quality conforms to quality standards through the baking process.
• Ensure products are wrapped/bagged, and correct problems with machinery settings.
• Seal-out products with correct labeling for warehouse storage and shipping.
• Compliance with company-wide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Meet all federal and state regulatory requirements and adhere to our SQF program

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or relevant work experience
• 6 months prior experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices Teamwork and communication skills.
• Manufacturing or Food Handling industry knowledge
• Industrial Technical or Machinery experience
• Basic hand tool and computer user interface knowledge
• Food and Safety knowledge
• Some knowledge of Shop Floor Data Collection Software

  • Ability to perform repetitious work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand up to 80% of shift.

  • Twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting to 80% of shift.
  • Ability to work under cold environments (40degrees).
