Job summary

Futures is seeking an experienced Plant Manager with a strong background in Ready-to-Eat poultry manufacturing to lead a high-performance site. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement while developing a large production team.

In this senior role, you will shape operational strategy, manage OEE, yield, waste, and labour efficiency, and ensure compliance with HACCP and BRCGS standards across a high-care environment.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in plant/site/operations management within food manufacturing.
• RTE poultry experience is essential for this role.
• Strong understanding of high-care food manufacturing environments.
• Extensive knowledge of food safety, HACCP and BRCGS standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams.
• Solid commercial and financial understanding.
• Track record of delivering measurable operational improvements.
• Hands-on, confident leadership with ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for day-to-day plant operations and performance.
• Lead, develop and engage a large production team.
• Drive improvements across OEE, yield, waste, labour efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, supply chain and commercial teams.
