Job summary

Futures in California leads an established meat processing operation seeking an experienced Plant Manager to steer a fast-paced RTE facility. You will oversee production, maintenance, FSQA and drive performance across safety, quality, and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has proven plant leadership in high-volume poultry, pork, or beef processing, with a track record of optimizing KPIs, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering tangible improvements in cost and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must have previous plant leadership experience within RTE Poultry, Pork, or Beef processing.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, high-volume food manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of RTE production processes, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in managing large teams, improving operational KPIs, and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day plant operations, including production, maintenance, FSQA, and operational performance.
• Lead and develop cross-functional management teams to achieve operational targets.
• Drive continuous improvement across productivity, efficiency, yield, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve plant performance and profitability.
