Job summary

Tulsa Inspection Resources, LLC (TIR) is seeking a qualified RT/NDE Technician Level II to join our Houston field team. The role involves setting up, calibrating, and operating RT and other NDT methods in industrial environments, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely reporting to clients.

The successful candidate will hold NDT Level II RT certification (and MT/UTT where applicable), have CR/DR experience, a valid driver’s license, and a proven ability to train junior technicians while

Qualifications

• Current NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) required.
• Current NDT Level II certification in MT and UTT.
• Experience performing computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR).
• Able to obtain and maintain certifications such as TWIC, DISA, and site-specific safety councils.
• Must pass drug screenings, background checks, and qualification testing.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication skills to report findings to clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment for RT and other methods.
• Perform nondestructive testing to detect discontinuities per codes.
• Interpret and evaluate test results for acceptance or rejection.
• Maintain calibration of equipment and report results.
• Provide guidance and oversight to Level I technicians.
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients, and field personnel.
• Ensure safety protocols including radiation safety.
• Document results using required systems.
