Job summary

PROtect is seeking an NDT Technician to conduct inspections of structures and components using RT, CR/DR, UTT, MT and PT. The role requires Level II certifications in RT, UTT, MT and PT and willingness to pursue CR/DR training.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, defect identification, and thorough documentation, with long shifts and travel as needed. A valid driver’s license, TWIC and State Card are required, with health and safety at top priority.

Qualifications

• Must have NDT skill and willingness to continue learning.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safety fundamentals.
• Strong ability to follow procedures and document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections of structures/components per codes and procedures.
• Use RT, CR/DR, UTT, MT and PT methods for inspections.
• Select, load, calibrate, and operate inspection equipment.
• Identify defects and document findings.
• Complete work orders and logs per timelines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safety on site.
• Provide instruction to assistants and ensure team safety.
