Job summary

GEV Wind Power is seeking a field-qualified NDT technician to perform weld testing on various metals and report results to clients. The role requires travel to oil & gas midstream sites, compliance with regulations, and completion of accurate data reports.

You must hold IRRSP or Radiographic State Carded status and have Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT certification preferred. Be prepared for physical duties including lifting, climbing, and regular drug testing.

Qualifications

• IRRSP or Radiographic State Carded is mandatory.
• Level II RT/ MT/ PT/ UTT is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel (location dependent).
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs, walking, standing, climbing ladders or scaffolding.
• Must pass DOT drug & alcohol testing (preemployment/random/annual).
• Must pass background check.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Must have the minimum qualifications:

• IRRSP or Radiographic State Carded mandatory
• Level II certification in RT, MT, PT, UTT preferred
• Must be willing to travel (depending on location)
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs, walk, stand, climbing on ladders or scaffolding
• Must be able to pass a preemployment, random and annual DOT drug & alcohol testing
• Must be able to pass and maintain a satisfactory criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
