Job summary

GEV Wind Power seeks a nondestructive testing technician to inspect welds and piping on carbon steel, stainless steel, and vessels. Travel to job sites will be required depending on location.

Responsibilities include testing welds, completing data reports for clients, and ensuring compliance with RT/MT/PT/UTT standards. Must meet physical requirements, pass DOT drug testing, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• IRRSP or Radiographic State Carded is mandatory.
• Level II certification in RT, MT, PT, UTT is preferred.

• Complete reports of test data and provide to clients

Must have the minimum qualifications:

• IRRSP or Radiographic State Carded mandatory
• Level II certification in RT, MT, PT, UTT preferred
• Must be willing to travel (depending on location)
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs, walk, stand, climbing on ladders or scaffolding
• Must be able to pass a preemployment, random and annual DOT drug & alcohol testing
• Must be able to pass and maintain a satisfactory criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
