Job summary

GEV Wind Power in Idaho seeks an experienced NDT Technician to perform weld inspections and quality testing on carbon and stainless steel components at various sites.

This role requires travel to Oil & Gas midstream locations, strict adherence to DOT drug/alcohol programs, and timely reporting of test data to clients; a valid driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• IRRSP or Radiographic State Carded mandatory.
• Level II certification in RT, MT, PT, UTT preferred.
• Must be willing to travel (depending on location).
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs, walk, stand, climbing on ladders or scaffolding
• Must be able to pass a preemployment, random and annual DOT drug & alcohol testing
• Must be able to pass and maintain a satisfactory criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Travel to jobsites as needed to various Oil & Gas midstream sites
• Test welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, piping, vessels for integrity
• Complete reports of test data and provide to clients
