Aegeus Inspection is seeking a Level II RT Technician for our Houston office to perform RT inspections on oil and gas infrastructure. You will interpret readings, set up equipment, report findings, and ensure compliance with safety and client standards.

The role requires RT Lv. 2 certification, 2+ years’ NDT experience, and the ability to mentor others while maintaining accurate documentation. Local travel may be required; full benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical RT NDT background required.
• Minimum 2+ years of RT NDT experience with full documentation of prior training, experience and certification is required.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Aufgaben

• Performing primary RT NDT inspections on oil and gas infrastructure.
• Operates tools and equipment to accomplish job assignments and client requirements.
• Inspect and interpret readings in real time to determine areas of interest.
• Apply testing criteria per applicable specifications.
• Set up and calibrate equipment, interpret results, and document in formal reports.
• Complete timely reports per client, company, and standards.
• Safely operate company vehicles and adhere to radiation safety requirements.
• Direct, mentor, and train personnel in the methods used.
• Provide guidance with codes and standards controlling the method.
• Ensure paperwork is turned in on time (safety forms, timesheets, etc.).
• Demonstrate professional communication and positive customer service attitude.
• Follow safe work practices and personal safety guidelines.
