Job summary

Acuren is seeking RT Assistant NDT Assistants to support calibrations, nondestructive testing, and evaluations per written instructions, recording results. The position is open to qualified applicants in Beaumont, TX and surrounding communities.

Requirements include 40-Hours Radiation Safety Training, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the ability to undergo a background check. Some college and technical background are preferred; a valid driving record is required to operate company

• RT State card is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred; technical background useful.

• Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
• Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment
• Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Record results of inspections
• Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be able to have experience, credentials and history to be certified as Trustworthy & Reliable to comply with federal and state regulations, as determined by a thorough background check
