• Hammers, chips, and grinds workpiece to cut, bend, and straighten metal.
• Verifies conformance of workpiece to specifications.
• Follows all workplace rules and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as required by the supervisor to meet company needs.

They will construct trays, shelves, hosebed fronts, hosebeds, tool boards, slides, assemble swivel dumps, tack expanded metal and extrusions, cut and bend coffin lids and more. The Metal fabricator will set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, and drill presses.
