Job summary

General Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Reno, NV.

The RRT will support adult acute and critical care patients in a fast-paced hospital, with 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. Start date begins October 19, 2026, with potential for additional shifts based on needs.

Qualifications

• RRT credential required.
• Active Nevada respiratory therapy license required before submission.
• At least 1 year of professional RT experience; 2+ years in acute care for this assignment.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certificates preferred before start.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapies per protocols and orders.
• Assess and plan care for patients across ages and acuity.
• Deliver direct respiratory care in adult critical care and general units.
• Monitor status and communicate changes to care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
