Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada. Start date is soon, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour day shifts, flexible.

This contract role requires NBRC credentials and CPR certification, with preference for 18+ months of respiratory care experience, ideally in critical care. As a travel position, you will join a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency that supports clinicians with housing options, credentialing

Qualifications

• NBRC Respiratory Therapist credential required.
• CPR certification required.
• Eighteen months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Provide respiratory care per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
• Participate in development and/or implementation of patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain professional communications with staff, patients, and families.
