Qualifications

• 1-3 years of respiratory experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and assesses patient responses.
• Performs and documents Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) punctures accurately.
• Communicates effectively with healthcare staff and leadership.
• Evaluates and maintains respiratory therapy equipment.

Skills

Proficient in administering pharmacological procedures

Strong communication skills

Skilled in patient assessment

Competent in using electronic medical record systems

Knowledge of safety protocols

Education

RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist

BCLS - Basic Life Support

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

STABLE - Neonatal Certification
