Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering respiratory care with a patient‑ and family‑centered approach.

Part‑time position, 24 hours/week, with every other weekend. Shift 6:00am–6:30pm. Starting pay $32.05/hour with potential increases for experience + sign‑on bonus. Must be licensed in Michigan and complete required certifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist in Michigan.
• Associate’s degree required; registry exam within 90 days for new grads.
• ACLS and PALS certification; may be obtained within nine months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and respiratory services per approved plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and other disciplines for patient‑centered plans.
• Review patient histories and evaluate for bronchodilator, ventilator, oxygen therapies.
• Perform diagnostics: EKGs, blood gas, pulse oximetry, and related studies.
• Support quality improvement by identifying issues and documenting findings.
• Maintain patient safety and report risks to leadership team.
