Lifepoint Health® in Wilson, NC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patients in recovering and maintaining respiratory health. Responsibilities include measuring lung capacity, delivering therapies, monitoring conditions, educating patients and their families, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should possess an Associate's degree in Science, hold current licensure, and preferably have three years of experience. Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in North Carolina.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Three or more years of experience in cardiopulmonary services preferred.

Responsabilités

• Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples.
• Deliver and assess response to therapy per plan of care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
• Evaluate respiratory care policies based on outcomes.
• Respond to codes and emergency assistance calls.
• Educate patients and families about illness and resources.
• Maintain supply levels and equipment storage areas.
• Disassemble, clean, sterilize equipment, and perform maintenance.
