Job summary

HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, IL is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will conduct physician-prescribed treatments, operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, document care in the EMR, and ensure compliance with policies and quality standards. The role requires a Diploma/Associate degree in respiratory therapy with NBRC credentialing and state licensure, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy is preferred.
• RRT certification and state license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physician-prescribed respiratory treatments and operate related equipment.
• Document patient care in the EMR in accordance with policies and HIPAA.
• Demonstrate competence in respiratory care procedures and equipment.
