Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care required.
• NBRC-RRT registry and Ohio license required (Limited Permit acceptable).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care procedures including MDI, nebulization, chest physiotherapy, and varied ventilation support.
• Evaluates appropriateness and effectiveness of respiratory care and communicates results to clinicians.
• Prepares and administers treatments per physician orders and site protocols.
• Maintains patient airway and provides emergency support including intubation if policy allows.
• Performs invasive procedures like suctioning and ABG sampling and responds to emergency calls.
