Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for part-time night shifts at Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, OH. The role supports acute care patients with respiratory therapy, including mechanical ventilation, airway clearance, and oxygen delivery.

Requires RRT, BLS, and Ohio licensure, with PALS preferred and NRP within 6 months. 12-hour night shifts, 24 hours per week, with alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Active RRT credential required; Ohio licensure in good standing.
• BLS is required; PALS preferred; NRP within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical ventilation management.
• Airway clearance therapies.
• Oxygen therapy and humidity therapy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and ensure PHI protection.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures during orientation.
