This Respiratory Therapist role provides respiratory therapy and other appropriate clinical interventions to assist with orthopedic and non-orthopedic patient’s needs.

Provides respiratory therapy and other clinical services in inpatient, outpatient, and home care

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Associate’s Degree in Science discipline is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required, American Heart Association/Red Cross preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required, American Heart Association/Red Cross preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in science discipline is preferred.
• 3-5 years of work experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Patient assessment and evaluation inpatient/outpatient.
• Home Care services and overnight oximetry.
• Bronchoscopy set-up and assist.
• Ventilator set-up and management.
• Noninvasive modality ventilation.
• Oxygen delivery devices and CPAP/BiPAP support.
• Arterial Blood Gas collection.
• CPR and emergency response assistance.
