Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• RRT credential required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments, assessments, and monitors patient responses.
• Orients patient to treatment modality prior to procedure to facilitate cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures accurately and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures as assigned.
• Maintains equipment and adheres to safety protocols.
• Documents all treatments and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
