Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical in Georgia is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our patient care team. You will perform patient assessments, administer respiratory care protocols, and support critical care in adult units, while ensuring blood gas analysis and equipment maintenance are carried out to the highest standards.

The role requires current RRT credential, Georgia state licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with prior experience in respiratory care and orientation validation

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
• BLS, ACLS (ALS can be used in place of ACLS) and PALS required
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS. Must be actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies.
