Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Evanston Hospital to work nights in a full-time role. You will help physicians with respiratory procedures and provide care across neonatal to geriatric patients, following hospital policy.

The position offers a substantial sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment documentation, monitoring responses, and education for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry-eligible status.
• Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license within six months.
• Current CPR certification (AHA).
• ACLS, NRP and PALS required within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with Respiratory Therapy procedures as requested.
• Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal through geriatric patients as ordered.
• Assess patients to determine the most suitable treatment method.
• Document treatment, equipment maintenance and Q.C. activities; transcribe orders.
• Communicate treatment to patient and family clearly; monitor responses and educate staff.
